Life has been too busy to keep up with a blog. I will try to do better!
Nothing much has been happening around the house. EXCEPT the bad dogs are at it again! Zoe has taught the rest of them how to escape from the fence. Zoe is a digger and is showing all of them how to dig huge holes under the fence. They kept getting out. Daddy was mad! He would "fix" the fence and they would still get out. Finally, Daddy and Mr. Scoot really fixed them!
So far...no one has escaped in a few months.

Mama is the Alpha Female is this house!
Well...today, I put all of them in the house bc it was hot outside. The first thing they did...was fight with each other!
First, Jelli jumped on Zoe. Then Zoe fought back and then Pretzel was in and Olive!!!! I yelled..."I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!" To which they all just stopped and looked at me like...UT OH! So, they all ran into the bedroom and jumped on the bed. As I stomped down the hallway, I grabbed me a wooden spoon.
Their little angelic faces seemed to say..."OH SHIT!" as I turned the corner. AND the beatings began! I fussed and yelled and spanked little hinneys. AND they were flying under the covers. I took charge and let them know...I AM THE ALPHA FEMALE OF THIS PACK!
Little terds...I could see tears in eyes. They even seemed to say...I am sorry to each other.
So, I laid down. Gee-not one of them fought to be on me. I wonder why? Maybe it was the fact that I still had the wooden spoon in my hand?
However, what they did do was lay down next to each other and slept...like good girls should. But...they did sleep with one eye open...that eye was on that wooden spoon. And...I warned them! One little growl and that was it!!!!!!!!!!!
All is good in my house today...now! heehee

Fox and the Hounds!
We have a Gray Fox family in the woods around us. The girls are barking up a storm when they see them too.
The Mama fox aka Foxy Roxy (thanks Emerson) is coming up to get food for her babies. We haven't seen the babies yet but she looks like she has a litter of kits.
I keep telling the girls that Fox are a part of the DOG family and they are not fancy looking cats! But I don't think they believe me bc they are still barking at the poor fox.
I can invision Pretzel meeting up with a fox kit...and saying..."I'm a Hound Dog" to it...just like the movie....Fox and the Hound. :o)

Busy Weekend!
We had a busy weekend this past weekend.
Olive and Beenie were bad girls and Beenie bit mommy. Olive kept coming out of the sheets...with an attitude. I would spank her hinney and she would go back under covers. Every time she would come out...she would give Beenie this evil look! Well...the last time Olive did it...Beenie had had enough! Olive started growling at Beenie and the fight was on! As I was pushing Olive away....Beenie got my wrist good. OUCH! Needless to say I have a few puncture wounds, a bump, and a bruise on my wrist. Beenie didn't get into trouble bc she was just trying to put Olive in her place. But Olive got into trouble and had to go to time out. Olive is very aggressive at times and does not want to share Mommy time. Little Terd!
We had all the doggies in bed on Sunday morning. They love it! It took them FOREVER to settle down under covers. Of course, Flip did not like being under the covers.
Monday was a surprise for them bc they thought we had to go to work! LOL Stroodle loved the extra hours of bed time Monday Morning! heehee :o)

Holiday weekend
It is finally the weekend and it will be a nice long holiday weekend. Thanks to all who have served or are serving for our freedom! The house is clean bc the house cleaners came today. I am soooo happy for that! That means more time to play with the babies. They love it when we can sleep in and they are all under covers. They can't wait till Mommy is on summer break! heehee :o)

Cleaning up
Today we cleaned up the yard and the house. Stroodle helped us. Beenie still isn't feeling all that great. We think she ate dirt and gumballs from the gum trees. Bless her heart! She is hating life this weekend and feeling kinda puney.
Stroodle is such a good girl. She likes to sit on the porch and watch me water the flowers. She watched daddy cut the grass too. Now, she is helping mommy clean up the house by acting like a vaccum and eating crumbs off of the floor. LOL We call her our little hoover.
